Drupal 6 & 7 installation

  1. Download and unzip the Magic Zoom module for Drupal 6 or Drupal 7 (free and fully functional demo version).
  2. Upload the magiczoom folder to the modules folder of your Drupal website.
  3. Activate Magic Zoom in your Drupal admin area - Administer -> Site Building -> Modules (image section).
  4. It's ready to use!

  5. Use the effect by adding a link from your small image to your large image with a class of MagicZoom in the <a> tag. For example:

    <a href="big.jpg" class="MagicZoom"><img src="small.jpg"></a>

  6. Buy Magic Zoom To upgrade your free and fully functional trial version of Magic Zoom (which removes the "Trial version" text), buy Magic Zoom and overwrite following file with the same one from your licensed version:

Great
Nice, flexible library. Just two things i don't like: We use it on an product overview page, so we want the lens zoom on the image, but when the user clicks, the article should open. Seems that this is not possible with a simple setting, you have to write some custom Javascript code. The second thing is the Drupal integration. Why is it done via Imagecache? This would be an good second option to use this, but i would prefer an image formatter for this.
