Installation

  1. Download the module for Magic Slideshow CubeCart 5/6 or CubeCart 3/4 (free and fully functional demo version).
  2. Unzip the file on your computer and FTP the magicslideshow folder to the root of your CubeCart website (on your server), keeping the file and folder structure intact.
  3. Magic Slideshow for CubeCart web installer Go to http://www.yoursite.url/magicslideshow/ in your browser and click 'Install' (replace yoursite.url with your domain name).
  4. Link to Magic Slideshow for CubeCart module settings page Go to Admin panel > Modules > Plugins > Magic Slideshow > Edit.
  5. Activating Magic Slideshow module for CubeCart Remain on Magic Slideshow settings page and enable module.
  6. The demo version is now installed!
  7. Customize the Magic Slideshow plugin Customize the Magic Slideshow plugin through Modules > Plugins > Magic Slideshow > Edit menu in your CubeCart admin panel.

Setup a homepage slideshow

You can now add a slideshow to your homepage in just a couple of clicks:

  1. Home page Slideshow section in Magic Slideshow module Home page Slideshow section will be automatically enabled when Magic Slideshow™ installed.
  2. Upload home page slideshow image in CubeCart admin Select Upload images and browse your computer for your set of slideshow images.
  3. Your slideshow is now working!
  4. Setting up home page slideshow width and height in CubeCart admin Slideshow will automatically resize to the size of container. To set a specific slideshow size, change Slideshow width (pixels) and Slideshow height (pixels) options.
  5. There are over 30 customizations available. Have fun, try them all!

Uninstallation

  1. Go to: Admin panel > Modules > Plugins > Magic Slideshow > Edit > 'Magic Slideshow status' option > Select 'Disabled' to disable module.
  2. Go to http://www.yoursite.url/magicslideshow/ in your browser and click 'Uninstall' (replace yoursite.url with your domain name).
  3. Delete the magicslideshow folder from the root of your CubeCart website (on your server).
  4. Magic Slideshow is now uninstalled.
